Chateau Kato Winery is a small family business located in the Kakheti region Georgia, in particular in the village of Khashmi. Khashmi is famous for the Saperavi grapes variety which has a long history. Saperavi grape wine is reported from the period of Queen Tamar (XXII century). The wine was made by David Gareji monks. Saperavi wine has a unique and special taste in the Khashmi micro zone, therefore it deserves a unique design also. Kato was the name of the great grandmother of the family who took special care of the wine. The design of the female silhouette was also created because of her. There are also centuries-old vines planted by Kato in the vineyard. Hope you enjoy the project.
